Getting the most out of your reusable menstrual pads doesn’t need to be hard. Follow our top tips for making the switch to cloth and you’ll never look back.

Choosing cloth pads

Cloth pads come in a range of sizes and fabric choices. You can make the switch simple if you choose the right pads right from the beginning. There are a few different things for you to consider. What is your flow like? Do you have any allergies? How much do you want to spend? When will you be wearing the pads?

  • If you are susceptible to allergies or irritations, then a natural fibre like our organic cotton pads will be the best choice.
  • To save money, or when building up your stash, we have a range of great value pads. They might not be the most expensive on the market, but people do love them.
  • Our pads come in a range of different sizes.
    • Liners are great for everyday freshness.
    • Petite pads are great for younger women, they are smaller than our regular pad but just as absorbent.
    • Our regular pads are ideal for daily use during your period.
    • When it comes to night times or postpartum use, then our night pads or large bamboo pads are a great choice.

Using your reusable menstrual pads

When it comes to using the pads, there are a few things to keep in mind to get the best of the pads:

  • Wrap the wings of the pad around your underwear and snap in place.
  • Close-fitting underwear will give the best results.
  • The coloured fabric goes against your underwear with the white or black fabric against the skin
  • Position the pad so that it lies comfortably in your underwear.
