Cloth nappies can seem to be quite big and bulky compared to disposable nappies. Some parents worry that this may impact on their babies physical development. Do cloth nappies slow down walking? When it comes to going back to work, many parents worry that they will need to switch to disposables while their little one is away from them. But using cloth nappies at daycare, or while being looked after by a family member needn’t be difficult. There’s no need to stop using cloth. Our tips for using cloth nappies at daycare Stick to one type; having different varieties makes things too confusing. Keep it simple; too many snaps and fastenings can be awkward. Send more than you think they’ll need. If you’re pad folding, have the nappies ready folded. Go through the nappies that you use and how they work with your child’s main caregiver. Have a named wetbag or bucket to collect dirty nappies in. Provide all of the things that they will need; covers, wipes, inserts.
