Cloth Maternity Pads

Cloth maternity pads were something that I really didn’t consider when I was pregnant with my first baby. Actually, if I’m honest, despite having used a menstrual cup for years beforehand, and although I was planning on using cloth nappies, I fell for listening to all the crazy things that they tell you that you need, and even went for disposable knickers! (Bad idea, don’t do it.) But by the time my second baby came along, I decided to give cloth maternity pads a go, and I’m so glad I did. Why cloth maternity pads? So, what’s so great about cloth maternity pads? Why would you want to use them? After giving birth, your lady bits can be so tender, what would you prefer against them? Rough paper and plastic of disposable pads or nice soft cloth? Believe me, there’s no comparison, that soft fabric is so much nicer against your poor battered bits. Why everyone needs flat nappies

When I first started using cloth nappies on my babies, over nine years ago, I started out using flat cloth nappies. Over time I went on to try all sorts of different cloth nappies, but I’ve always gone back to and loved those flat cloth nappies. In fact, even though my four children are now long past the nappy phase, I still have, and use those flat nappies. Which is one of the reasons why everyone needs flat nappies. Why everyone needs flat nappies When you talk about cloth nappies, people are often put off by the idea of having to fold, old fashioned cloth nappies, but of course, most modern cloth nappies aren’t like that. Our pre-folds , for example are really easy to use, and don’t need complicated folding. Yet here I am explaining why everyone needs flat nappies. Why?
